The mobile market offers particularly interesting opportunities for MLD^® technology because of its massive size and quick pace of innovation. SmartPhones are continuing to grow with enhanced sets of capabilities - including touch screens and multi-media displays - to the point that they are becoming mobile computing and TV devices in addition to phones. As a result, display sizes have been growing as well. As people use their mobile devices for an increasing number of activities, MLD^® technology can play a major role in differentiating one product from another by providing ways for manufacturers to enhance the gaming experience, improving the color and contrast of photos, and making it easier for people to internalize information.

While PureDepth^® is exploring opportunities in both the U.S. and Japan, the company believes the Japanese market may be more ready for MLD^® technology as they regularly use their phones as computers. In both countries, the market offers an opportunity for display royalties and content royalties.
